How hosting a paid OutGrind challenge works.
Seven days from application to live. Here's exactly what happens, who's doing it, and what you'll receive at each stage. No black-box "get on a call and we'll figure it out" nonsense.
The 7-day launch timeline.
- 01Day 1
Apply (4 min)
You submit the form at /hosts/apply. We review against fit criteria (audience size, niche, launch timing). If fit, we reply within 24 hours with your onboarding-call link.
- 02Day 2–3
Onboarding call (30 min)
Your dedicated launch manager walks you through: challenge structure, stake amount, cohort size, minimum-payout target, and the exact creative kit you'll need.
- 03Day 4–5
Technical setup (we do this)
We configure your branded challenge page, your Stripe Connect account, your gym-check-in rules, your invite code, and the weekly email templates your participants receive.
- 04Day 5
Creative delivery
You receive the announcement video script, 3 story frame templates, and 2 Reel hook variants. Most hosts record the assets in under 90 minutes.
- 05Day 6
Enrollment opens
You post your announcement content. Enrollment link goes live. We watch the signup graph with you in a shared Slack channel.
- 06Day 7
Challenge starts
Week 1 kicks off. Participants start their gym-verified check-ins. Your launch manager stays on Slack for the full first challenge.
If we're at host capacity for a given month you'll go on the waitlist and launch the following month. We cap at ~10 new hosts per month by design.
What ongoing operations actually look like.
You post 1 story / short video about the challenge. That's the entire ongoing content lift. We send automated participant updates for everything else.
Weekly settlement runs. Participants who hit all check-ins recover their stake + their share of the forfeit pool. Your 70% share lands in your Stripe Connect account.
You get a one-page post-mortem with completion rates, NPS from participants, and a list of high-intent participants suitable for coaching upsell.
